Working with complex buildings
Period properties, hospitality estates and unusual premises present challenges around cabling routes, building fabric, plant rooms, legacy systems and staged occupancy. We assess what can reasonably be reused and plan pragmatic upgrades.
EN 54 and fire detection experience
Our experience includes evaluating technology options and integration approaches involving EN 54-compliant equipment. EN 54 is a family of standards; familiarity with relevant products is not itself certification to design, commission or sign off a fire alarm system.
Competent specialist coordination
Fire risk assessment, fire strategy, system design, commissioning and certification require appropriately competent professionals for the particular work. We collaborate with suitable specialist partners rather than representing that every regulated discipline is delivered in-house.
Phased improvements and documentation
We take account of operational priorities, access constraints, future development and the need to document systems clearly. A sensible first phase should not create an avoidable problem for later stages.
